 | Tibet's capital is called Lhasa, it's the spiritual center of Tibet. TÃbet is considered very different from modern China. The people of TÃbet have their own language. With its moderate climate, Lhasa is free of both cold winters and warm summers, with an average temperature of 8 degrees C annual. Tibet enjoys around 3000 hours of sun during the entire year, much more than most of the other cities in China. Sometimes the city is called The City of Light because it is illuminated by the sun so often. It rains most frequently in July, August and September. But it is not that bad to travel during this time because rains come generally during the night and it is sunny in Tibet during the day.
